To Millau by caravan from the Netherlands

Coming from the Netherlands with your caravan? Here is the route, the stopover to plan and what to know before you arrive at Camping Saint Lambert, open from 24 April to 24 October 2027.

The route

From Utrecht, the shortest route is about 1,110 km. It crosses Belgium and runs via Paris and Clermont-Ferrand, where the A75 heads south to Millau. Between Clermont-Ferrand and Millau, this motorway is toll-free.

Plan a stopover

With a caravan, allow two days on the road. A stopover just past Paris splits the journey well. Avoid rush hour when crossing the Paris region. The A75 crosses the Massif Central, so expect long climbs and descents, and check the weather early and late in the season.

No need to cross the viaduct

Coming from the north, leave the motorway at Millau, before the viaduct: you avoid the toll and reach the campsite 5 minutes from the exit. For a close-up view, the panoramic viewing area is free.

Before you leave

  • Pitch check-in between 2 pm and 7 pm
  • Maximum length: 7.5 m on all pitches
  • Twin-axle caravans are not accepted: the campsite's paths and bends are narrow
  • Bring a blue CEE plug and a 20 m extension lead (10A electricity)
  • The barriers are closed from 10 pm to 7 am, so let us know if you are arriving late
  • Travelling with a dog? Dogs stay free on pitches, and a vaccination record is required

CampingCard ACSI

The campsite accepts CampingCard ACSI in low season: €13 a night for 2 people with electricity on Nature, Riverside or XXL pitches.
